Star Lessonmobile
Overview
Star Lessonmobile enables teachers to easily record, review, archive, share and publish video footage of their lessons for future CPD, teaching and training. Being portable and running wirelessly through the school's network, the mobile unit enables schools to capture teaching excellence from any classroom in the school with very little set-up time and minimal class disruption
Designed around the teacher
Teachers are totally in control of the process, it is their tool, they decide whether to record a lesson with their dibba or not. Once the lesson has been captured and archived, only the respective teachers can access their lessons in their personal password protected section of Lesson Land
Teacher-Centric functionality
Each portable unit has a dibba LCD screen that enables teachers to not only start, stop and archive the recording but also to control and move the cameras into their preferred focus areas before or during the lesson.
Fixed and wireless microphones enable teachers to capture audio from both group discussion and standard lesson scenarios with equal ease.
With the ability to mount the units on a table, shelf or stand (supplied as standard) there is never a classroom configuration where setting-up is difficult
New learning channel
Schools build-up a networked 'lesson bank' of hundreds of their most successful lessons, providing a valuable learning resource for teachers and pupils alike. This 'lesson bank' can be viewed on demand via the school's VLE/network by pupils and teachers from school or home.
New CPD tool with tagging facility
Teachers can observe and learn from their own teaching, allowing them to hone and perfect their skills over time. Star Lesson's Ofsted and TDA Standards tagging and search facility enables teachers and observers alike to easily highlight, archive and search the most relevant lesson footage.
